What each task costs, and how long it takes

For the score a model gets on Forcebench, what does each task cost, and how long does it take? Every number here comes from the recorded runs and a dated price list. For now the page covers models reached through Anthropic and OpenRouter, whose prices and times are measured the same way. Where a configuration lacks what a chart needs, it's left out and named under the chart, never estimated.

Score against cost

Each dot is a configuration. Across: what a task costs at the list price of the route it was reached through, on a log scale. Up: its score with its 95% interval, within 3 attempts (c@3) unless you pick another under Score. The line is the Pareto frontier: no configuration scores higher for less. The shaded corner is cheaper and higher than the median of the configurations shown. A task's cost counts every attempt its score counts, failed ones too.

Cost per task, broken down

Cheapest first, each bar split by what was paid for: input, cached input, reasoning, the answer, and output a service didn't split into reasoning and answer. Every token is priced as published, with no caching or batch discount, and reasoning as output, as every service here bills it.

Cost per task, cheapest first
Per solved task is the total over every task divided by the tasks solved, so a configuration that solves more pays for its failures over more successes.

Score against time

Across, the median seconds a task took, every attempt its score counts added up, on a log scale; up, the score with its 95% interval. Times include the network and the service’s queueing, and each run asked for 1 to 16 answers at once (in the numbers table), so they describe the service as Forcebench used it, not the model alone.

How this is calculated

  • A task counts every attempt its score counts. For pass@1, the first answer. Within three attempts (c@3), also each retry of a failed answer until one passes, failed and unanswered attempts included.
  • Cost is the list price of the route each run took (a router's price for the endpoint it was pinned to, not the vendor's direct price) with no caching or batch discount: every input token at the input price, reasoning as output. Cost per solved task is the total cost divided by the tasks solved, and has no value when none was.
  • Time is wall-clock seconds from the request to the last token, added up over a task's attempts. A try the endpoint failed and that was started again is not counted.
  • Tokens are as each service counted them; each model family uses its own tokeniser.
  • Recorded from 10 October 2026: cached input tokens, and which upstream served each answer through a router. No configuration here has them yet, so cached input shows as not recorded and the route is the one each configuration was pinned to.

The full method is in the methodology. The data: the price list (prices/2026-10-10.yaml), this page's numbers as CSV and the whole leaderboard as JSON.

Want this for your team?

Azul Labs runs Forcebench privately for two kinds of Salesforce team.

Choosing a model to run yourself?

A private benchmark of your shortlist

Open-weight models at the quantisations and reasoning efforts you could run on infrastructure you control, tested on your kind of Salesforce work, with a written recommendation.

  • Private tasks written from your work only ever run on local models; they are never sent to an API.
  • Re-testing after any change of model, quantisation or engine is available.
  • Typical turnaround is 2–3 weeks; large models take about a day of machine time per configuration.

Building or buying a Salesforce AI tool?

A private evaluation of your tool

Your tool on held-out tasks it has never seen, against API baselines (models reached through a hosted service) and Local ones (served on Forcebench’s own hardware), with a written report on where it holds up and where it fails.

  • It can start as a smaller pilot, about 30 held-out tasks with your tool against two baselines, before a full evaluation.
  • Repeat evaluations after your releases are available.
  • Typical turnaround is 2–3 weeks.

Fixed fee, quoted up front. The quote depends on the number of tasks and the number of models, tools or configurations tested.
